Anyways, straight to business. I've been extra super busy for the last month or so. Our gigs started getting more frequent and I've spent most of my free time in a state of near sleep as a result. As of now we usually have at least two gigs a week, usually accompanied by a long bus ride. When we're not performing we're practicing or doing physical exercise. Another nasty fact is that as most of our gigs are performed on weekends it means we won't be getting weekends off nearly as often as most other units. (I've been stuck in our unit for as long as 3 weeks in a row now and there's a rumor going on about having 5 weeks in a row too at some point x_x). The good side to all this though is that I've grown completely dull of all the gigs and practice sessions and such. This means I don't get nervous when performing nearly as much as I used to and I can play whilst thinking of something completely different at the same time.
As for being in the military in general, it's become completely routinized for me. So much in fact that I've started slipping on discipline a bit though not nearly as much as some of the more infamous guys in our unit. I suppose we're lucky that our higher ups are ridiculously lax on us as opposed to the other ones in other units.
As for non-military stuff, I'm afraid I don't really have that much to offer. As I said I've been pretty busy lately so most of my life is just army greens for now. I did have my first go at DDR yesterday though. Turns out I pretty much suck at it major time since I tend to jump on the dance pad a lot and end up moving it all around the room (even though it was one of those hardwood ones as opposed to the mat ones. Wasn't an arcade machine though)
Oh and we finally performed our figure march and we were told afterwards that we're the most advanced group of recruits they've had so far. I'm a bit skeptic about that though since it might have been something they've said to every group before us.
I'll try to get an youtube video up of our performance at some point but I make no promises since It'd have to be recorded by someone not actually marching in the actual formation.
Oh and the government will be funding a trip to both Estonia, Sweden and Holland for me so I suppose that's a plus. Too bad it'll just be another set of gigs but at least I get to visit both Estonia and Holland for the first time
PS: Typos aplenty but I claim innocent on the basis of the lateness of the hour. I'll probably have forgotten 80% of what I wrote to here by the morning anyways...

It took a lot of work to get here. But I'm pretty sure a brick will come by and shatter all my plans pretty soon.
Welcome to the Dark Center Of The Universe, Chuck.
Make yourself at home.
